Launching a brand-new website for this bathroom designer and installer, to provide the pre-showroom showroom experience.
Watertight Bathrooms is a Yorkshire based bathroom designer and installer and family business. They approached us as they needed a more premium website to work as an active part of their sales and marketing processes.
The existing website was basic and lacked content and brand consistency. Our task was to uplift the brand and translate this into a brand-new website, ready to attract new customers and lead them to booking a design appointment.

We couldn’t be happier with the new website. It perfectly hits the brief of a premium, professional feel that is still authentic to us. Our showroom is an important asset to us – and one of the main reasons customers trust us. It’s fantastic to see how well the team have captured the luxury feel of the showroom and translated this into our online presence. Customers are wowed before they even reach out to us.
By taking the time to understand Watertight’s strategy and target audience, we suggested how to uplift and expand the existing branding. We brought in new colours, streamlined the fonts, and gathered plenty of high-resolution photography, including a photoshoot at their newly remodelled showroom in Horsforth.
We created a consistent brand tone of voice which follows throughout the website messaging and social media activity. Everything is designed around providing the personal, premium service Watertight Bathrooms are known for.
Since 2024.
The first step of the process was nailing the research. We began with detailed competitor research, exploring where the new website needed to place Watertight in the marketplace, and what features and content we wanted to build into the design.
Next, we tackled the SEO research and keyword mapping. The findings informed the new sitemap, complete with a supporting search strategy. From this, we created the page content hierarchy and wireframes, so we knew exactly what was going where.
Once the research was complete, we went on to choosing the design and look and feel. With a design and layout agreed upon, we set about populating the new site with our search-optimised copy and new photography.
We worked with the Watertight team to get the messaging right, asking the odd question and sense checking information. But for the most part, we handled everything.
The process of working with Your Engine Room was seamless. They gathered everything they needed, did thorough research, presented their reasoning, and checked in throughout the project. The website was transformed without any disruption to our business. We noticed an immediate difference launching the website and refreshed social pages. We’ve seen an uplift of enquiries right away, and we are now busier than we ever have been. Customers are reassured by our smart, consistent online presence, and can start exploring ideas before they visit us in the showroom.
The website launch went smoothly, and the Watertight team were impressed with the premium finish of the design. The new sitemap and page content now provides customers with much more information to help them take the next steps.
As part of the project, we overhauled Watertight’s Instagram and Facebook pages, creating new header and profile graphics and uplifting the overall look of the pages. This put us in great stead to launch the new website.
Following the launch, we managed Watertight’s social presence for three months to build up reach and engagement. We created branded assets and a consistent posting schedule to keep the pages looking their best – and provide an extension of the uplifted brand and website.
The initial results on social show great momentum, with growing audience retention and profile interest. Content is being seen and engaged with by their audience – indicating the branding and messaging hit the right mark.
Facebook reach up 511% and content interactions up 338.3%.
Facebook traffic to the site is rising, with link clicks up 100% and page visits up 96%.
Instagram is growing with 30.8% more views, 39.3% more visitors, and a 25% follower increase.
The website and social activity have given a massive boost to sales even in just a few months. We’re excited to see where it takes us into the next year and beyond.
