Brand Juice

Launching an exciting new sister brand for a longstanding client, including creating a marketing strategy, brand and new website.

A brand new proposition

The Barista provide mobile coffee bars for events and have been a client of ours since 2014. In this time, we have built a fantastic working relationship managing their marketing, and the business has grown an average of 25% year on year.

The Barista came to us with an exciting new proposition – freshly-made juice in smart branded bottles, for a B2B audience. They saw an opportunity to differentiate from the mostly mass-produced, shelf stable promotional juice products on the market, instead offering premium, 100% natural juices for high end clients at events and launches.

We jumped at the chance to get started, but first all agreed we needed to delve deep into the new proposition and create a full marketing strategy to work from. After a half-day session with the client, we went away and created the strategy over a few weeks.

"Through our years of working with Your Engine Room we have developed a strong relationship; we work well together, and the Your Engine Room team really understand our values, standards and how we operate. Because of this confidence in them, we knew that they would be the perfect partner in developing our new brand and website.”

Designing the new brand

Once we had the strategy agreed, we moved onto brand and naming. Considering all our findings from the strategy – target markets, segmentation, positioning, vision, values, and more – we set to work on the research stages.

We presented back a positioning statement and core brand values, along with three creative territories i.e. directions the brand could go in. We also presented some initial names to consider. The client made their picks and away we went.
Nailing the brand was all about creating something smart and premium, with a hint of playful energy, that would appeal to big brands and sit well against lots of other logos and colourful backdrops. With bold, colourful photography to support, the monochrome brand mark looks slick and holds its own.

How long we’ve worked with them

Since their conception in 2023.

We’ve worked with sister brand, The Barista, since 2014.

The website project

The website needed to attract brands, marketers, and agencies looking for premium juice in smart branded bottles. With in depth SEO research to work from, we created a sitemap based on the landing pages needed and refined the user journey alongside the client to ensure the result was simple to use.

Working with a website developer, we began crafting the messaging and copy, and presented design concepts to the client. They loved the use of monochrome and white space that complements the vibrant images and juice shots.

We wrote SEO optimised copy for every page and the client and website developers arranged for photography to support content population. We spent time refining the ‘quote builder’ form as the central call to action. The website project moved quickly, and we were able to launch just a few months after finalising the brand and name.

"Your Engine Room took the time to really understand the proposition and used this knowledge throughout the brand and website development process, creating a brand identity which we are all proud of. The confidence we have in Your Engine Room now extends to the Brand Juice brand and website, which the whole team is excited to work with going forward."

Launch and beyond

To launch the new brand and website we created social accounts on LinkedIn and Instagram, developing launch graphics to suit each platform. We utilised the audience of sister brand, The Barista, by including Brand Juice in their social schedule and email newsletter.
Initial marketing activity has included SEO blogs, video content, website and social graphics, website monitoring, audience building and full social schedules across the relevant platforms.

We are so pleased to continue working as Brand Juice’s marketing team and we have high hopes for what this exciting new brand is going to bring to their marketplace.
